Sea Lane, La Jolla – Horseshoes and Tourists

January 23, 2010 by Albert 12 Comments

During summer you would have hard a hard time beating the lifestyle of the popular strand of Sea Lane beach in La Jolla California. The secluded beach was just another saga in the life of Mac Meda ... it was not a place for the tourist to go. And it did become a popular place for that romantic  late night spot. Many men became men and many a fair women lost their virginity; … [Read more...] about Sea Lane, La Jolla – Horseshoes and Tourists

WindanSea Sunsets – Social Network of Beach Life

January 10, 2010 by Albert 13 Comments

In the Florida Keys, each night around two hours before sunset masses of people flock to the water's edge to experience a soul-soothing, gorgeous, spiritual happening to play homage to the sun as it sank into the Gulf of Mexico. Vendors set up little trinkets shops and  performing artists like jugglers, animal acts, high-wire artists, acrobats, and fire-eaters all began working … [Read more...] about WindanSea Sunsets – Social Network of Beach Life

Jumping Off La Jolla Clam – San Diego Fines

December 26, 2009 by Albert 22 Comments

There are only three common sense rules to jump off the Clam. Be a very good surf swimmer, not a pool swimmer. Carmel Valley in the old days was considered the sticks - depending on type of vehicle, and pit stops it took about a two beers as the crow flies before one got to the Carmel Valley turnoff off Interstate 5 and another 1 to two beers to get to Brown’s Cattle Ranch. Browns Ranch was not really owned by Brown, he had the property just North, but just an easy name to remember and … [Read more...] about Carmel Valley Conventions – Brown’s Ranch

Long Bar, Tijuana Mexico – Bootleg Tequila and Stale Beer

December 15, 2009 by Albert 13 Comments

If you Google search Long Bar, the first three pages are filled with some historic Old Town Irvine bar called Tia Juana's Long Bar and Grill. The website hypes that you sit under the brightly colored banners, sipping Tia Juana's famous hand-shaken Margaritas, and eating the freshly made tortillas and salsa. Now check this out, it says it restores the fun and excitement of … [Read more...] about Long Bar, Tijuana Mexico – Bootleg Tequila and Stale Beer

LA JOLLA BEACHES BEING ABUSED BY COMMERCIAL VENDORS
Some bad things are happening to our La Jolla beaches and that is, vendors are blocking off areas for private parties and making large profits off public beaches. Now as the law reads, these vendors can get a permit to have a private party and that permit is ONLY for 50 people, BUT, they CAN NOT ASK or MAKE you leave (even if they show you your permit)  if you are sitting in a spot they want to have their party at ...
